Description
Use: It is indicated to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, teething pain, sore throat or postoperative pain and reduce fever in children.
Ingredients: Ibuprofen, raspberry flavor.
Mode of use:
- For infants 6 to 23 months: 50 drops (equivalent to 1.25 mL) every 6-8 hours.
- For children 2 to 3 years old: 75 drops (equivalent to 1.875 mL) every 6-8 hours.
- Not to exceed the recommended dose in a 24-hour period.
- Administration: The drops can be administered directly into the mouth with the aid of a dropper, or diluted in a little water or juice.
Important: This medication should be administered with food or milk if it causes stomach upset.
Contraindications:
- Allergy to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.
- Severe stomach problems such as ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Severe kidney or liver disease.
- If the child has asthma or severe allergic reactions to NSAIDs.
- Not recommended in children under 6 months of age, unless directed by a doctor.
- Use in children with severe dehydration or severe diarrhea.
